Program Description

Day 1 – Ascent to Otto Meiling Refuge

We depart from Bariloche for an incredible journey to the Otto Meiling Refuge! After a pleasant drive of approximately 3 hours to Pampa Linda, we will begin our ascent to the refuge. The 13 km hike with a 1000-meter elevation gain will take us around 5 hours, but it will be well worth it! We will spend the night at the Otto Meiling Refuge, a cozy place reserved exclusively for those with bookings.

Day 2 – Summit Day (Pico Argentino)

Summit day! We start very early in the morning to enjoy the best conditions. We will traverse glaciers and ridges, secured with ropes, as we ascend toward the summit. In the final stage, we will face an exciting climb of about 20 meters on ice with a 45-degree inclination. But don't worry, we'll be prepared and provide you with all the necessary gear! Once at the summit of the Argentine peak, we will be rewarded with spectacular 360-degree views. You'll be able to capture stunning photos and experience the pride of reaching the summit. Afterwards, we begin our descent back to the refuge.

Day 3 – Descent and Return to Bariloche

Today is the return day. We will descend along the trail to Pampa Linda, enjoying the scenery as we say goodbye to the majestic Mount Tronador. Then, we will set off on our journey back to Bariloche, carrying unforgettable memories of this epic adventure.
